Preparation

Thawing Instructions: Remove from bag, place overnight in refrigerator or put sealed bag under running water until thawed. Remove from bag after thawed.

Grilled: After thawed, split lobster tail down the middle. Place the lobster half flesh side down on the grill med/high heat for 4-5 minutes then flip to shell side down for another 3-4 min. While cooking with the shell down, baste it with garlic butter (melted butter, salt, pepper and chopped garlic to taste). Meat should be white and slightly detached from shell when ready.

Broiled: After thawed, cut top shell down its back. Pull the meat out and lay it over the top of the shell. Baste it with garlic butter, salt and pepper to taste. Place under broiler on high 1 minute for every oz weight of tail. For example a 5oz tail would take 5 minutes under the broiler. Remove at 145 degrees internal temperature, meat should be white and firm when ready.
